They already make the correct ones for your truck. The Superlift SS shocks (exactly the same as a Bilstein 5100) are made for a 6" lift. That's the Bilsteins that come with the Superlift kit when you upgrade the shock absorbers. They don't require adapters either....... the rears are eye to eye and the fronts are stem to eye just like the factory shocks. I've used them with a previous lift that I had on my truck and they worked out great.
I think the guy at Bilstein is saying that they (Bilstein) don't sell a 5100 series shock for a 6" lift that is labeled as a 5100 series. However if you asked I bet he would tell you that the shocks that Superlift outsources through them are made for a 6" lift. Not trying to argue at all; I just know that some sales guys don't know exactly what they are talking about. Like the ones that say 4 1/2" backspacing is required for these trucks when putting any lift on them.

That is weird cause i worked at a tire shop for 5 years and i swear by these things. Mine only gets a vibration every once in while. How many miles you have on them??? Mine were way better at about 8000km so like 5000 miles or so. That was the first time i rotated them and then everything was smooth as can be.
