I agree with the painted bumper part but its really hard to get paint to stick to it. Im still trying to find a way to get paint to stick to mine. Thinking about buying a sport pumper cover if i can find one.

they cant be powder coated they would melt in the oven...powder coating gets baked on at about 400* and the caps are plastic

to blast chrome off you can probably just use regular sand. its super cheap. There is other stuff out there that might cut faster but for a do it yourself deal just go with silica sand.

Awesome idea I love the finished look on the truck.

I'm on my way to the shop to pickup some paint!!! I have decided to paint mine the same color as the truck to try and be a little bit original.
