RDR

So I installed the bilstein 5100s all the way around tonight. Took me about 2 1/2 hours. Not bad considering I had to run down the the store once. Was a pain in the butt up front, had to remove the bracket from the front driverside shock just to get it out of the engine compartment. Maybe there is a better way to get it out, but the only way I saw was to do that or remove the battery. So I definitely opted for just taking the bracket off.

Anyways, my truck had 75k on the stock shocks. I don't know how long they're made to last but it was pretty rough. The bilsteins definitely show their colors at low speeds. Driving through a parking lot is MUCH nicer now.
Seems to handle differently in corners now, haven't really been able to evaluate the cornering real well yet. At higher speeds it makes less of a difference, but DEFINITELY takes the bite out of the sharpness of bumps.
I can definitely tell now that the rear springs generate alot of the bounce at high speeds. Makes me consider getting a minipack from lorenz or something.

Anyways, I'm very happy with how the truck feels now. My .02 on the 5100s.
