Big toe clutchin' again, South Bend style

I put a new 3250 plate & middle flywheel in today. It has great pedal pressure. With the stocker I remember how when I was barefoot I could work the pedal w/my big toe (of course it slipped like crazy). Now I am big toe pedal pushing again. I am loving it.

Good times, good times.

Next on the agenda, new seat bottom for the driver's seat. I should probably wait until I get a step of some kind because I have evolved into sliding or oozing out of the truck.

Well I'm not for sure Peter and I have been e-mailing back and forth. He hasn't answered my question of the washer behind the pivot ball being harmful to the clutch ,but it is the holiday weekend so I'm not in a hurry at all. Mine shifts great ,it just sounds god awful when the pedal is depressed. Not really a big deal to me just don't want a little washer to hurt my clutch or lesson it's performance.

I'll get it all figured out with Peter's help I'm sure.

Thanks for asking.

I had a lever break on my 3600 pressure plate. I replaced it with a 3250. I can't believe the difference. I almost pushed the pedal thru the firewall the first time. It shifts so much faster too. I love this 3250.
