big hoss bundle
:confused hello all i am new here i just bought my first diesel 2006 dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 i have already taken the exhaust off and the silence ring i was wondering about the fins in the intake tube has anyone taken them out if so how did you do it also what else can i do to get more power the sky is the limit but i need a guide line i recently looked at the banks big hoss bundle is it worth it they want 3200 for the kit can i take that 3200 and possibly put it to better use

just say no to Banks.
leave the fins, not worth it.
You effective have exhaust now, then intake, then gauges, then a module or programmer.....then you get to where the sky is the only limit

The best thing about this site is the Search feature. Go to advanced search and type in Banks in Title search and you will be hit with hundreads of threads about Banks or anything you feel like researching.
Personally I think the Banks Big Hoss Bundle or what ever they call their $3,500 bundle of crap would be a total waste of money for you. Call me what you you want but im just like 80% of everyone else here that thinks Banks is for the birds...

thanks guys i appreciate the help i will be using my truck mostly to goof off in an maybe a boat or some jet ski's in the future as far as how much power do i want i dont know but i would love to find out how much i can get again thanks a lot

If you spend enough money you can easily get over 650HP on a truck that you can use and drive daily maybe even more than that. Im not sure at what point the street manners become too poor to make the extra power desirable on a street driven truck.

acook the truck is auto i know i will probably have to get mr tranny built or just buy a different one hey syndicate do you have any run times those are very imprecive power numbers
