WHats the story on best air filter setup??

To keep things simple - whats the latest on the best air filter setup?? a BHAF or K$N, etc... thanks..

i dont think theres a best one might flow better than the other but it really depends on how much u wanna spend or if your willing to build your own intake

If somebody knows how to set up a poll on this forum regarding air intakes for 3rd gens.....that might be kewl to know.

I like my AFE Stage 2. It flows alot of air, sounds like a Jet engine on takeoff, and according to my oil reports seems to filter better than stock. But they are not cheap.

I second that i love mine even though it was alot of money i think it was well worth it.

Warranty?

Is it true that a BHAF is about the only intake mod you can do without your dealer giving you stress about your warranty?

(since it's Cummins approved...)

Generally speaking, I don't think there are many dealers that will give anybody trouble over Air and Exhaust mods. That would be pretty **** of them, if so.


Power boxes, injectors, turbos, etc....most likely would cause some problems for warranty though.
