I could have bought some take-offs on another Dodge truck board for $450.00. That was a great deal but I didn't call the guy back quick enough. I just got some on E-bay mounted on Power Wagon wheels for a lot less than new. Tirerack sells them pretty cheap but then you still have to pay shipping and get them mounted/balanced.
Try Sams Club or Costco the equivelant in your area. They usually don't stock them but can get them if you can wait a few days. Their price is great plus it includes mounting/balancing.

I picked some up from a freind at chuch with around 10-15k on them for $400. You could barly tell they had been on the road. I have a feeling they may be the tires that Dodgzilla was talking abought because the guy does a lot of internet trading and selling on TDR. I dont know what he goes buy over there though. The best price Ive been qouted was around $205 new. Ouch.

Tires.com.
I bought my 285/70R17's in '04 for $199 each from www.tires.com. The key was no sales tax and free shipping. Total was $796 delived via UPS to my front door. I've since upped the ante to 315's.

I paid $215/each mounted and balanced at a local tire shop. No sales tax in Delaware. They ordered them for me and it was the only set left at the distributor. 295 Nittos where on national backorder at the time.
