Which is better EZ orVA 3.1
i have a 04 with Edge Ez and i can buy a friends used Van Aaken C 3.1 for close to nothn. I am wondering which is the better one or if any diffence. The one i dont use, I am giving to my brother. I just want to keep the better one for myself.

Both are good boxes. The VA makes better low end torque (below 2k rpms) and the EZ has better high end power. Big plus for the VA is the in cab selectability. The EZ makes more power in the highest setting than the VA.
So if you tow alot the VA makes more sense, but if you like to hot rod use the EZ.
With that said I have a EZ on the way, and planning to keep it at level 2. From the Edge dyno pics it's about a 50hp/150tq gain over stock @ 2100rpms (70mph).
