Hey...
I am ONLY addressing the original post's question to why not 600 hp?
Smoke not clearing up...means one of two things...
Under turbo'd or low rail pressure. Period.
Marks truck did 575 with the same fuel and a SPS 62 WITH a Stage 2.
So...you are probably both low on rail and low on air.
Just my observations to why not 600...

For 2007 5.9, low RP, dought it, lack of turbo, possible. I do think a larger turbo would compliment his set up well. As for me, I think I could of used a tad more RP. He may have made 600hp with some timing changes and a tad more playt ime on the dyno. He was soooooo close. But your right it could of been one of two things. I lean more to the air side of it.

I'm trying to understand what I'm reading. So on your runs, you set the TNT/R to NOT use the raised RPM/4000 feature, and it was 30hp stronger than the TNT? I assumed the TNT/R was just the TNT tune that would rev higher and I was wrong....good to know(happens all the time)
Also, your stock CP3 didn't dip down at all w/90s, you maintained 25.5K? Wow, you better hang on to that pump!
One more thing, as a point to Marco and Bob, I sure would like them to consider keeping the 4.2 alive for future and the PoD tuning. PLEASE!

I don't know JP, I hit 1350* at the end. What else is there to do? I figure a little more air on top will get me over the 600hp barrier, but I guess ifvi dyno on a 248, and hit 605 like ithink I will then Mission Accomplished!!!

While, Im not doubting you at all, but that seems unbelievable w/ the stock CP3 especially w/ 90hp injectors. That TNT should be draining the rail to below that w/ stock injectors. Like I said, I know me and a few other folks who have stock CP3's with the TNT program and your size sticks can drop the Rail to 10k and it will ever slow slowly get back to the high teens. So I guess what Im saying is to have the strongest stock CP3 pump Bosch ever produced or that gauge is FUBAR'd. Either way congrats on the number.

Les, next time we meet up, I'll let you use my gauge and see if it makes a difference.

we can't figure it out either. Les' truck is a freak. His stock pump holds pressure better than most stage 2 pumps!!! I just put a stock pump back in my truck, and rp drops to 13-14k and builds up to about 21-22k at the end of a run. Thats with 120 hp injectors.

But for sure we can swap gauges and see which one is accurate!!
