What is the best box to stack with the PPE downloader??

Power puck with the qaud Boost fooler provided 16 more hp with my set-up over an mp-8 and the price is right.

 

I have the ez, seems good- do you have the reg. or Hot version. also hows yours run, ever dynoed or tryed any other tuners. That im aware of myself and only a couple others run the ppe, id really like to hear from someone elses point of view or compairision. Most seem to run the smarty around hear and still have not got the chance to race someone with that tuner, just no one around me has one. Im happy with it but now after 40,000 plus on the tuner i could prob. have my arm twisted to trying the Hot version!! Curious ya know- 300+hp compaired to 215 from the reg. would be cool.

 

X2 race stacker (pressure only) and has boost fooling enabled.

 

I do seem to have noticable timming rattle with the ppe up all the way and the ez on. Made a long drive this past weekend to south texas and got 22.4 mpg with ppe alone. I ussualy have to have the ez on too to get that milage. All Hiway but still had the 215 tune in her. Not sure on the timming rattle thing i dont like it, if i go the HOT version i plan to ditch the ez. Some one else will have to chime in as far as a press. box that doesnt rattle.

 

Any one of the Dr. Performance Predator modules. But the stageIII is were I'd start.

 

On my 05 i had the TST and PPE and it was almost as good as my smarty and tst. I think you would really like that stack or should atleast try it.

 

I am running the PPE with a quad right now and it works good but the clattering is bad on level 2 and 3 on the quad. with the ppe quad and ddp 90's i put down 560 at houston.

 

Is this the reg. tuner 215/325 or the hot 300/470? I would think the hot version along with your sticks would do as much or more, and delete the press. box? Thats what im thinking anyway. PPE told me just thier hot tuner alone on an 04-06 does 540-550 at the wheels. That with some sticks would be super! Any one running the HOT tune that can share any experinces or dyno runs?

 

We all know a certain texas guy that used to be here that ran the PPE hot, MP-8, modded rails, silver bullet and some other stuff too, like 150hp stix... 05 truck, 608hp....

PPE has a nice product, I'm not bashing it... but I would be very skeptical about 540-550 rwhp with just the PPE. Because then, what you are telling me, is that after the PPE, the silver bullet and 150hp stix, stage 4 cp3, modded rails, MP-8 and etc. "only" added another 58 HP.

 

If Thier claiming 540-550 I would love to see that pyro spinnin with a stock huffer

 

no kidding, with it on the 215 tune, i removed the boost fooler just to see the diff. on a short run from say 70 -100 on the H-Way it got to 1450 and still climbing fast would have pegged the pyro. in another second. I didnt like this and didnt expect it. With the B.F. and all else the same it jumps to 1200 and slowly creeps to say 1300 maybe a little more but dont think it would burry it. The ez helps even more with the temp. but not running it now due to the rattle, might be ok but i dont like it.The Hot is suppose to do press. also from what o hear, if so dont see why a stack would be ness. anyway. If that 33 at the crank is correct his numbers make since to me, 300-12%= 264 [280+264=544] dont know never ran it. Sure thinking about it though!
