Here is some pic of my 6" stack/tip out the back. My truck has a LOT deeper sound to it with the 6" stack/tip on it. I did just have a 5" x 18" tip.

What is the pipe size on a '06 Megacab? I ordered a 4id to 5od and it did not fit. If I turned it around and tried putting it on backward it fit. I am thinking I need a 5id to 5 or 6od? I hate paying return shipping.

That's wierd, maybe you were shipped the wrong size. I thought all the dodge systems were already 4" from the factory.

I would have to disagree. When I went from my 5" to a 6" it sounded quite a bit deeper and louder. May just be me though ...

this is the most bad a** tip i've seen. So is that just a 6" miter cut stack?

I like the way that tip looks on your truck! Makes it look like its got a full 6" exhaust on it.

Stock 4" downpipe, to where the cat used to be, and 5" from there back over the axle and out, then the 5" to 6" tip

I had a 5" system laying around and decided to hack off the stock 4" pipe/cat

Thanks!
Yes it's just a MBRP 4" x 6" 36" long miter cut stack. I wanted the sound of a stack but I did not want the hole in the bed so this is what I came up with.

sorry.......responding anyway. Anything bigger than 6" takes away from the truck and looks ridiculous......unless it's on 40's....if you must go large do the 7"
