And if your looking to go big with the 6.7 I would suggest rods are manditory, I can't say I have experience with the 6.7, but take that same PM rod and throw some more bore at it, I'll bet its hurting at the 800-900 hp level.
I know I read a while back Brown's diesel doing some 6.7 work, not just sure how that all come out....it was getting up there.

The 6.7 short block HATES 800-900 hp. Rods just start bending and breaking. That short block went up to 1075. After that one of the rods made an extra crank case vent.
These Powder Metal rods are a joke compared to the earlier forged rods.
.0075 if good for the stock pistons. They need room to expend because there is a lot of material. I thought these new pistons wouldn't expand quite as much. That is some tight tolerances though. It makes it more effiecient though. I heard that they were cutting back on stuff you can use for the pulls. There are going to be lots of melted motors this year.
