BDDL over rev?

Who has this problem? If you rev it up to high or do a burn out in 2nd and go too high it will stay at HIGH RPM's for a couple sec. and I cant even shift into another gear. I love CL but this over rev thing stinks and is scary. I feal like somethings gonna blow!

Well I'll just say a big hello from the Ky.state.New to this board, but not new to racin,Hesco high powered off road TJ,Kowasucky dirt bikes,402 88 11 second Dak,and many more drag cars and off course several road course cars.

Just gettin into kerosene burnin rigs.Always used them as drag race tow rigs, now maybe will tune one up to see what happens.

To the point about this over revving thing.I have a bone stock 06 Mega cab and it will not really over rev,BUT sometimes when going down hills when I let off the fuel pedal it will not back down right away, maybe sometimes it takes a second or two before you can hear the turbo spooling down??????

Could be this may be a OEM computer screw up??????????Mopar had to flash my cpu to the tranny as it would show in gear and not move and the other could not be duplicated.

My truck did this as well a few days ago when I reved up my truck in neutral to cover my buddy in black smoke while he was on his sport bike It scared me as it caught me off guard. Truck was fine though...no weird rises in oil pressure or engine temp afterwards.

Mine does it with the Quad box and it also did it with the TST and the MP8 I used to run. I learned to shift a bit sooner and the problem stopped. I was told by many members that it is normal....
