Question BDDL EGTs HIGH?

Need some help here my (06) seems to be running hotter on CRAZY-LARRY than my (05) did. I have hit 1400 fast on shifting mybe im to slow? The (05) auto,didnt do that. Both trucks were preturbo 3rd cylender from the front.BULLYDOG said it was becuase of the location of the probe. Thay said i should have put it closer to the turbo.I COULD USE SOME HELP WITH THIS ONE

I thought due to the 3rd injection event the '06s run hotter than the '05s stock. Is this not true?

By the way, my Triple Dog runs hotter than my Quadzilla module does, and I think it's because there is no boost fooling on the Triple Dog.

So should i run the MP-8 on low or in the middel it is on the truck for BOOST-FOOLING? Or not at all?Thanks.

50% with stock injects and CP3 in that stack should rip!

The 06's have a third injection event just like the 05s. on CL i have pegged my 1600 degree gauge on a 0-60 run. Not hard to do for sure. But my only guess would be that the 06's have another resonator after the muffler that could be restrictive?

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure if it was only the '06s that had it.

There is a resonator after the muffler on my '06, but I don't know how restrictive it is.

My good buddy Boarbuster has an 06 with Crazy Larry. He was actually running cooler than me for a while when we had similar set ups....but his exhaust is totally straight.

On Tow, I see lower than STOCK EGT's. Even while towing, using the Tow program you will have lower EGT's. We tried this with Boarbuster's truck pulling a 32 foot with my truck on it

I was gonna suggest a Quad boost fooler for ya...but i see you have an MP8. I stacked an MP8, Quad boost fooler, and Crazy Larry before i got my new turbo. It actually works well and you'll have great low end throttle response...and EGT's were a bit lower.

the 3rd injection event started on 04.5's.

So what you guys are saying deal with it or get a bigger turbo? That sucks on a knew truck i guess its only money right enough said there.Performance seems real strong over my (05) on CRAZYLARY mybe the stick macks the differance? I guess i need to learn how to drive a stick better or should i say FASTER keep the RPMs up seems to help.And i do need a moded CP3 as well.

I got the Quad Boost Fooler and a muffler delete pipe, and mine will still hit 1450* on a hill w/ Crazy Larry.

This is still better than 1650* w/o the fooler and w/muffler.

The Crazy is ok on flat ground, but once you go up a hill, forget it. The EGT's come up faster than the MPH. The extreme 2.3.1 will outrun the CL 2.3.4 on a hill w/ a stock turbo.

We need a SPS 6280 .
