I have one of BD TurboGuards on Ghost Rider. It work well and even though it is 6 bills, it's still cheaper than replaceing the turbo.

how does it react compared to a BOV on a gasser turbo engine? i've been toying with the idea of making my own setup, or getting the BD turboguard [my setup wouldn't be as pretty, but much cheaper]

I thought the same thing, But the guy at HTT said even the craziest sledpullers have not blown this turbo from barking... So I thought I just hold off until the price comes down a bit... (6 bills - yikes!)

With a 6 speed your not going to be barking the 66 unless you are letting off the throttle very fast.

Copy that, I really have to TRY to bark it... I have only barked un-intended a few times

At least with this turbo when it barks I dont get all worried, its no big deal now - I admit I have barked it a few times to show people what it sounds like..

Mine barks every time I shift... I have also broken the thrust bearing once, but HTT said it wasn't due to barking, and warrantied it. I'd say on average mine barks 50-60 times a day and no harm yet. Buy the turbo, and let it bark. Save your $600 for some more fuel.
