Bd Super B Special N E One Have One
i just want to know if any one has one of these and what kind of turbo it has been to you. i can not get to much info on it from BD so i want some feed back from some users of it. They say it supports 525 RWHP and im aiming for that or a little more. Just read my sig for mods and the other mods

I didn't have the special but I had the single. When I was running it spooled up very quickly due to its small size, but it would fall off in the upper rpm's. I was happy with the single, I only changed because I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the HTB2 but I am very glad I did the turbo change, I noticed the power increase.
I think the special has a larger waste compared to the single. Have you looked into HT or II, I think you will find the price to be really good and with HT or II you can upgrade either turbos as your power demands grow. Back then I didn't have the choice to upgrade with BD.

Dodger Bomber, PM Kantdrive55, That's Pat and he works for BD in Sales I think. The special typically supports up to 550hp and is still within its efficiency map. This is the same a most of the 62/12's from the others. BD offers a 1 year warranty on their turbos while the others 30 to 90 days I think. If a warranty is important to you then it is an option. I have a super B that I had on my twins and on its own it will crank to 47psi and will hold 42psi all day long.....a little more efficient than the turbo on the 6## trucks but the specials and 62/12's are much better. ks
