BD Racing Anti DeFueler Installed
Guys, I had my RAD installed today. Nice simple unit. Stops the odometer while it is in place. Only going to use it for racing. The truck just flys through the gears with the TC locked...it is unreal. Spins the tires on all three shifts on TST 7/7 but quickly hooks up. In 4wd it would be scary fast. Haven't gotten to try my top speed yet but I know it is well past 107mph. 7/7 tops out at 1480 deg. boost cooler is going in next week then 9/9 is mine. ks

NICE! The RAD is almost a necessary addition for us SO auto owners to overcome Torque Management. I just wish it didn't kill ALL the instruments so it would be more practical for every day driving. If you ever run at a drag strip, do a run without it and one with it and you will be amazed at the difference.

How is the RAD any differant from just turning you key back a little while the truck is running? This also kills the instruments and quickens shifts.
Does anyone offer a torque management only solution?

My FASS must be wired differantly because it continues to run after the key is turned back.
I called BD. They said on the 04' the RAD would only help with top speed (which I don't need) and TM on the 1-2 shift. No TM help on 2-3 or 3-OD.

Guys, As far as I know the Sensor is required for tranny shifting pcm and fueling ecm. BD replaces the sensor output with something to keep things running. ks

The ABS, SES, and all of the gagues except the speedo work.
On a six speed, it does nothing for the "going fast" part. Still has the slight lag. Now if turn on the Banks.....yeah it runs like snot.
Maybe it one of those things that works differently in a auto vs. a 6sp?????????

Lord.. With this thing on the market I am sure we'll be seeing a bunch of super low mileage trucks out there.. Sure some people will probably be taking advantage of the fact that it kills the odo.. At least the hour meter should still work... Right?
