Baldwin 2mic vs Fleetgaurd 7 mic
#2
I would say just go with the 7 micron Fleetguard Stratopore...it's what is recommended from Cummins, so how could ya go wrong? Ya know...then you have to ask yourself, is that 2 micron restrictive at all? Sure, it filters smaller particles, but what could POSSIBLY be getting in your fuel that ISN'T fuel that is smaller than 7 microns in size?

Also, the thread name is asking comparisons between 2 micron Baldwin and 7 micron Fleetguard...but your post is asking between the 5 micron Baldwin and 7 micron Fleetguard...which one did you REALLY want to know about? Either way, I would think that the Fleetguard would be good to go

I called a Fleetguard rep to find the best place to buy filters here. Apparently Cummins doesn't recommend anything smaller than 7 micron due to it being restrictive.
