Backup light switch on nv 5600
Has anyone had issues with their stock nv 5600 backup switch. I am wondering if the OEM switches are poor? It apprears to also maybe linked to oil change / type of oil.

I know several people with the NV5600 and have never heard of a failure. What type of failure mode? If anything I could see dirty oil causing the plunger to stick "in" making the lights stay on. (in theory anyway.)

Back when I got my 2003 there were a few people complaining about that. Mine died at like ten thousand miles and I replaced it a year ago. It's a very simple part to change, also.
