ya i know but that turbo in the pic is for a 94-02 truck. look at the Valve cover, its a CR motor. and his sig does not state twins. Also, what kinda lag does this turbo have, i need to upgrade soon and im looking for something i can still use to tow with once in a while.

Dodge Bomber,
Just because the turbo has a ring outlet does not mean its for a 94-02.
That turbo's outlet ring on the compressor is 4 INCHES in diameter.

That turbo is for a 12.7 Liter Detroit Diesel. Its about 3 times the size of an HX35 or HY35 for that matter.

ATS supplies an outlet pipe that bolt up to the turbos outlet so you can connect to the intercooler.

WUnderwood is just saying that its so big as a single that its also used as a primary in a twin turbo configuration.

Something is wrong with my truck I just dont know why I fell so short of 700 on #2. Please help guys I have spent a lot of money I just want realistic #'s for my setup. Wicked1 knows what im talking about. We have a similar setup and hes pushing out 230 more Hp. We bothe have dual fuelers,CL, and a little chip that plugs in to map and rail sensor. Why does he have that much more power. The only thing I can think of is turbo boost and turbo.

BlackBeast. Similar setup....Aurora5000 vs silverbullet -75hp, ATS stage IV injectors vs DDP extrude honed injectors, -50hp. Predator vs BDTD -10hp. Superflow vs Dynojet -100hp. I personally don't think you can make over 650 hp with an AFE filter without nitrous. I know I sucked mine into a ball and pulled the top off using my twins at over 60psi. Not being critical just trying to fill in the gaps. I also don't know much about the nozzles that ATS uses maybe others do. ks

2006 Dodge Dually-Mods 5inch MBRP,STAGE2 AFE,CRAZY LARRY,ATS INTAKE MANIFOLD,STAGE 3 WATER/METHANOL,SB DD 3600,FASS150,BIG DDP CUSTOM STICKS,DUAL CP3,STUDS,SILVER BULLET 66,EXAUST MANIFOLD,INTERCOOLER,HELIX 2 CAM WITH BOLT,BD TURBO GUARD, FLUID DAMPR,DIGITAL REAR SENSORS,PREDATOR STAGE 3,BOOST FOOLER, F1 SPRINGS.
658.9/1257 With small squirt of Methanol.
616/1156 on #2 only Super Flow Wyn dyno

No i aprecciate the feedback. The reason I did not buy ats nozzles is my buddy has them on his 05 drw and they smoke at idle. I heard I would gain a lot buy switching to a dynojet but do you really think that much. I also agree I really think if I switch turbos I will be way up there. There is a lot of unburned fuel.

Yeah, I think getting that turbo to handle the fuel and not overfueling are the tuning issues you need to solve. I have a K31 hybrid but it is for competition use only....You need to measure your intake and exhaust pressures.....if there is a problem Brady can do you a bigger silver bullet or a k31 hybrid. On the II truck they tried a k31 but had driveability issues but it made more power. They are running twins on it now with a sb on top and a big brother on the bottom. I I can solve your air supply problems...for a price. Tell them your thinking of going to the Aurora and they will make you happy as that is a sore point with them. If you are thinking of different injector nozzles send your injectors to DonM. He made me a set of Flux 1.5's for my stock truck but my "race" engine is running Flux 3 Hellfires....well ... will be running .... right now they are sitting in my closet waiting for me to finish work so I can start rebuilding the "race" engine. ks

DTR makes it SO HARD to keep my warranty intact.
5 years and 100,000 miles is a long ways away.
