ATS arc-flow air intake?
Hey fellas,
I'm out here at the diesel truck extravaganza and i seen this ATS arc-flow air intake and i was curious as to weather they would be a good investment or not.

from what i hear they are great if you looking to add water/meth because they are pre-drilled for that. as far as performance, i think they are on the same level as the banks high ram intake and don't provide alot of performance enhancement qualities. might help the turbo spool up quicker, not real sure though. thats about all i heard. the 300 dollars could be spent on other thing????

IMHO , that would be a waste of $300. Turbo diesels are much Different than a gas engine. Under boost, on a stock manifold, I'd bet you'd see no gain in power unless you were at very high H.P. levels over stock. Even then, with the actual intake inlet staying the same size, the actual restriction would be the the intlet itself. I'm talking about the engine side of the High Ram were it bolts to the cylinder head.
