yeah i was thinking the same thing after hearing numerous people mention how easy it is to loose that little thing.

Make sure when doing fuel delete you put some type of sealer
in both electric plugs you unplug. First time I went threw car wash
and a rain storm, I got a water in fuel alarm.

the fuel filter delete is a bracket that takes the place of the stock filter canister so it can be removed. there are two lines that connect to the canister that his why you need the bracket if im not mistaken.

That is correct. I will be removing the stock filter canister assembly.
