Arctic Air Twins

Guys, Does anyone know what the other turbo is in the Arctic Air Twins setup. One is stock and the other is? I'm getting ready to splurge on a turbo setup and this one looks better than a big 66 single. ks

I've never heard of Arctic Air Twins before, anyone here have them? How's the quality of the kit? Doesn't seem like a bad price.

The arctic air twins is basically a HTB3, and piping. You use your stock turbo for the small turbo on the kit.

I just don't like that there is no external wastegate. The stock turbo is awfully small with it's 9cm exhaust housing to be pushing all that exhaust gas energy through it. I bet spool-up is instant though. It will be interesting to see how long the stocker lives as this kit gets more popular.

ABC....are you gonna go for this kit or what?

I started prepping some budgetary numbers for this kit, parts and labor (I don't trust myself doing it)..

Now I just have to prepare an Executive Proposal to the resident CFO and explain what kind of ROI we'll be getting from it .
With the current company image enhancements initiatives we have going on (house projects), I hope to have monies allocated by beginning of next fiscal year (summer)

Ramirezh, Yep twins are going on very soon. I want a set of BD Power twins with the big turbo being a s400 instead of a s300. I want an arctic air except with wastegates and a 12cm housing on the baby one. I want a piers towing twins for $1000 less. I want a set of ATS twins for $1500 less. These turbos individually are pretty inexpensive. Add a couple of oil lines a wastegate and 4 feet of welded pipe and you get a $2500 additional cost. If I didn't want the twins now I'd fab a set in about 5 weeks. There is no diesel speed shop within 1000 miles of where I am. Hmmmm maybe I'll open a diesel speed shop and at least I'll have one customer. Ultimately I want to tow at 450 to 500hp and play with 600 to 700 hp. ks
