Looks like they dont make one for the 3rd gen trucks either, but you might give them a call and ask.

ARB makes one for the front, NOT the rear and as of now there isnt a locker available, but you can always get the welder out

Arb Rear Locker

It's in the catalog. It's due out in 2009. So you'll be able to get both front and rear from them.

I have the aam electric locker in my 05, it was a direct fit no grinding of the case or anything. And the only thing else that I know available for the 9.25 is the Eaton e-locker, but you have to grind on the housing to make it fit.

Personally I like the e-lockers, no air compressor and seems less complicated.

I haven't had any problems with mine and have used quite a bit at truck pulls.

Did you do the swap yourself? Was it difficult?

Yes, it is a pretty easy job because your just switching carriers and the housings have adjustable bearing colars. Just takes a little time because you have to pull the hub bearing assembly's out to remove the axle shafts. The hardest part you will find is getting the hub bearing loose.

Thanks

Dustin

I wish Detroit would make a normal ole' locker. It would be fine w/me since besides a few snow trips a year, I only use my 4x4 for mudding after it rains (and reversing a trailer w/an aftermarket clutch).
