arb air lockers

arb air lockers
I have an 07 ctd srw, aybodyknow what size diffs it has and if arb even makes airlockers for it yet? i heard rumors that people have been waiting a long time for lockers, but was unsure what diffs i even have so didnt know if it applied to me

Im not sure but I think it a aam 9.25. Not sure about air lockers but Ox Lockers are tuff and cable actuated.

I have the aam electric locker in my 05, it was a direct fit no grinding of the case or anything. And the only thing else that I know available for the 9.25 is the Eaton e-locker, but you have to grind on the housing to make it fit.
Personally I like the e-lockers, no air compressor and seems less complicated.
I haven't had any problems with mine and have used quite a bit at truck pulls.

Yes, it is a pretty easy job because your just switching carriers and the housings have adjustable bearing colars. Just takes a little time because you have to pull the hub bearing assembly's out to remove the axle shafts. The hardest part you will find is getting the hub bearing loose.

I wish Detroit would make a normal ole' locker. It would be fine w/me since besides a few snow trips a year, I only use my 4x4 for mudding after it rains (and reversing a trailer w/an aftermarket clutch).
