If you take that F out of the last part of the name, It tells you the quality...

What would be a better choice? Thanks!! As for a boost gauge, is 30 psi enough?

I have it and while not impressed it does work as advertised. The only thing I don't have hooked up is the trans temp. You definitely want more than 30psi. I believe our trucks run at that or a tad more factory.

The quality is a hit or miss with those gauges.

Autometer or Isspro to name a couple. If you are not spending around $300 for the pyro/boost guages then you simply are not buying quality. Don't you want quality - after all you want to know what the boost and EGT is no?

AutoMeters are a quality Gauge at fair price. You want a 60 psi for the Boost Gauge... Try Geno's Garage http://www.genosgarage.com/departments.asp?dept=120

Agree with above comments. From the factory with stock programming you can get a little over 30. With a programmer and stock turbo 40-42. With aftermarket turbo... well, 60 psi gauge is best for you...

I run a 100psi gauge...

How does Westach rate? I like their 2 in 1 boost/egt guage.

Westach is well regarded. They have been in business for over 50 years making light aircraft gauges.

Westach's are pretty easy to install. The instructions can be confusing though, so read carefully.

The bulb brightness is adjustable by moving the bulb holder in and out of the gauge housing.

I highly recommend tie wrapping the rubber boost line to the nipple on the gauge and boost bolt. At high pressure the rubber hose can swell and blow off the nipple.

BTW, here's one on my truck.
