anyone use the ATS co-pilot???
running an 06 mega cab 64 silverbullet 3rd gen turbo, pmt bully dog, 150 fass pump, ats arch flow intake, s&b air intake kit, 5 star ats conv with ats pan, 100hp injectors, ats exst manafold and 5 inch bully dog exust system. worried about scattering the tranny but not ready to drop the couple grand to buy a ats tranny yet so wondering if the co pilot will help to keep the tranny around long enough for me to get home from iraq to keep my wife out of the shop 4 months to go. any suggestions much app

I have a feeling that it would do the opposite. It sure makes the shifts more firm,, it keeps the tc locked up, so I think that might hurt a stock tranny even more

Winner winner chicken dinner!
Well I hate to sound like the buzz killer here but I would cancell that dyno asap. You have paid good money for that 5 disc converter and the last thing you want to do is slip the trans, even a little bit. And dyno's are tuff on trannies, never seen anyone baby their truck on the dyno. Every time it slips even if you dont feel it you are sending material into the trans fluid into your converter, and you can quickly destroy it. I would leave it on tow mode untill you can get home and have the tranny built to your liking then dyno the heck out of it.

I agree with rye,, dyno testing is very hard on trannys.. ps, dont tell shane,, he is probably going to be in the 600 hp range, still on a stock tranny,,, but I think that when his goes,,, it is going to go BOOOMM
