Anyone running 35's on a dually

I am looking at trading in my 02 and buying an 06 dually for the new camper, see pics. Anyways, the NV5600 with 4.10's and 35's will turn the same rpm's and the getrag with 35's and 3.73's. Has anyone put on 35's? If so, were spacers needed to keep the tires from contacting each other? Do they make aftermarket fender flares for the dually for the added with? Does anyone run 35x10.5x17 tires in the back and 35x12.5x17 in the front? Thanks. New to the third gen section!

35x12.5x17 all the way around. I have about 19K miles on them so far and no problems. they ride nice and are wearing nice. Scream like a jet going down the freeway.

How big of a spacer did you have to get? How much tire is sticking out of the fenderwell.

If you get an '06 it ain't gonna have the NV5600 in it, and you can't get 4.10s as far as I know. You are going to get the G56 and 3.73s

Which is just like having a NV5600 w/ 4.10's. Perfect for 35" tires.

hard on wiring

nice looking truck but since i have owned a few duallies in the past I noticed you dont have any mudflaps on the back...one vulnerable spot is the wiring running behind your dualls to the bumper..give it a check and see if you have shreded the covering yet...even flaps dont stop all the sandblasting and rock hits but they sure help..on my second dually b4 it turned a mile i did the flaps and covered the wiring with 2 layers of protection...still had to replace the protection after about 50k but the wiring survived...doesnt take much gravel or off roading to chew things up ..the drivers side is more vulnerable than the passenger side due to the trailer harnes being there as well

It is a 3" spacer. I think was these tires are worn I will go with a 2" spacer and T/A Mud Terrains. The tires stick out 4 or 5 ".
