Anyone running 03-05 with more bost than stock please chime in!
New user here =o)
Those of you with 03-05 cummins running a boost tube, bleeder, valve, or other type of manual boost control///
What are you using?
What type of boost increase are you seeing?
Are you using it with any tuning products? (Edge box, microtuner, etc...)
From what I hear, the hose to the wastegate is not soft, so it's not as simple to "tee" as the older trucks.
Any ideas on this?
thanks in advance.

Regarding the "Dadge", I'm going to be playing a bit with manual boost control.

Vic - just to let you know there is no extra power to be had by turning up the boost on your stock turbo. Adding boost will only serve to cool down EGT's - to a point - you need to add more fuel to get more power. I think the stock turbo is good for about 33psi or so.

I have full capability of re-tuning the stock program to make as much "smoke" as I want =o)
On the Fords, boost was controlled through the computer...not gonna be so lucky here.

Vic,
On the 04.5 and up Dodge's you can control boost through electronics, most manufacturers just don't do it for some reason.
Give us a call if you have any questions.

Oops good catch....nobody ever said engineers were know for there spelling.
Your right on the 03-04 as they have a mechanical wastegate from the factory. If the wastegate solenoid on an 04.5 and up turbo fits on an 03-4 we can easily take control, if anyone wants to make the mod.

It is a hard tube from the nipple to the wastegate, no?
It would require some cutting and the installation of a simple ball/spring/bleed valve, right?
