Anyone know where to get inexpensive gauges?

i want gauges on my truck. originally i had it planned for next week, but the dealer wants 370 dollars for an A Pillar with Boost, Pyro, and trans temp gauges. They also want 72 dollars per gauge to install them.

the cheapest i found for a dodge A Pillar with 3 gauges is 279 dollars on the internet. does anyone offer any cheaper that are on the A pillar?

Thats a good price.......cheaper is rarely better, especially in this case. Accuracy costs money and that's why guages arent cheap.

ya ive been looking there. i was going to get a 3 gauge mount with an EGT, Boost, and Trans temp gauge. i think ill just order a 2 Gauge A pillar with EGT and boost gauges. im not hard on my tranny so the temps really dont get hot.

i am going to order the 2 gauge a pillar in a few minutes. hopefully it comes with wiring. it says it does, but i hope they hold true to that

Have you checked out the Isspro website? You can order directly from them and cut out the middleman. Install them yourself. Its not hard and there is tons of info from the good guys on this site that can help you out.

How do you think a shop will install them?

The only thing you'll have to drill is the exhaust manifold (or turbo downpipe) for the EGT gauge. Dead easy.

well i know that to install you HAVE to drill, but for me drilling is just not good. i would probably screw the magnet up and leave shards of metal in the pipe or something

how does the boost gauge install go?

Why spend $40000 on a truck and then install 59 cent gauges?
Just curious............

You are definately on the right path of getting gauges first if you intend to bomb. I speak from expensive experience. Good luck.
