the bdog does get rid of the speed limiter,and i have had better luckm programer wise with the bdog over the smarty,however i will try the smarty again when they get rid of tq management and the speedlimiter

I assume that the thinking is smaller tires will have a lower speed at any given RPM, so by fooling the system into thinking the tires are smaller, it will let you actually go faster before cutting off at a preset speed limit.

BUT, why would it care about speed, unless the lawyers are in charge at Dodge, and they very well may be? You'd think the beast would be rev limited, not speed limited.

Anyway, it's all academic for me. Youth and the endless need for "more power" was a long time ago. My truck is pretty much stock.
