anyone know of a speed limiter eliminator ?
the BD doesn't work on 06 and 07's. I thought the Smarty did it on one of it's programs but the beta's I've tried don't do it.
I thought I read somewhere you can remove the ABS fuse. If this is the case, does anyone know if it's the fuse in the engine compartment label " ABS pump " ?
I'd rather not do it like that but, if there's just nothing out there I may have too.

Definately an issue at the track for me near the end of the 1/4. Then I figured out that I had left the truck programmed with 40" tires and I was running 35's. So if you've got the smarty, you could type in the smallest tire possible and pick up a few more MPH. Its not a fix but a temp workaround if you absolutely need it for racing or something.
Hopefully somebody here knows an actual fix for it.

Hey triton try the bully dog 2.4 version. You can adjust tire size and speedometer to 200 mph. I guess that would fix the problem, dont know for sure, i havent ran it up past 110 i think. Need to find a longer straightaway.

i didn't want to post anything until I hit the dyno again without being limited but... since you asked :-)
591hp 1173tq corrected w/ smarty on beta 4.2 #9
Dave said it would easily be over 600hp without the limiter

I ran into the same thing at the end of June. My graph was going upwards at about 30 degrees hit 108 mph then straight down. Dunbar tried loading with the brakes and starting the run early but to no avail. I tried the abs fuse pull but it lost alot of power. 03-05 trucks have a couple of cures but 06-07 dont yet. David thought mine should do 840 or so on #2 if I could move the govn back to 125. I am hoping Marco fixes this with the next round of updates. Tim

Also Tritont the beta 4.3 was worth about 15hp compared to the beta 4.2 on my truck. Do you have a file for it? It should move you over the 600hp mark by itself. Tim

The 4.2 gave me a lot of power but, also smoked ( not as much ) and I had, and I'm not sure yet.... really bad timing or injector rattle. It sounded like a rod knock and I was thinking... oh man he we go again but, I put the SW back to stock and it went away.
My truck is built to take just about what ever I can throw at it but, until I can figured out a good stacking combo.... I'm limited. I hate to have to buy every box out there just to figure out which will work.

I used sw#8 and tst on 2/0 timing on auto 6 degrees. Funny how different trucks react so different. Mine has the timing rattle at part throttle also. It seems the 06-07 are much more sensitive to added timing. Good luck Tim

Turn the key forward before you hit the speed limiter. You have to hold it. The starter wil not engage. All of your gauges will drop to 0 and the radio will go off. But the truck will keep on pulling. I have did it a couple of times. And when I let off the key the speedo was reading around 120.
