Anyone have a wiring diagram for the trailer hitch harness?

Anyone have a wiring diagram for the trailer hitch harness?

I want to wire up some side marker lights and think it would be best to wire into this than the underhood box plus the wires would be easier to get to.

I hope to get it done today.

Hmmm So for a non electrician can you explain to me which hole in the hitch plug does what? I was going to just tap the wires behind the plug so you won't see them... But it appears you gave me the diagram for the main box under the hood?

look on the trailer socket cover on your truck, the diagram is molded into the cover, tells what pins do what.

This plug should be tucked up above the bumper somewhere in addition to the 7 way wiring. I wouild tie into it, so you can still tow a trailer if needed.

Wiring-trailer Tow 4-way - Black 4 Way Cav Circuit Function

2 L678 18br Fused Park Lamp Feed
3 L673 18yl Trailer Tow Left Turn Relay Output

you can go to your local auto store and buy a connector for the 4 way and be able to plug your side makers in to the four way and if anything comes up that you need the four way to tow with you just have to unplug your 4 way. just my .02

How did the project end up? Did yours have the harness under there by the bumper?

also the 7 pin connector is different on a dodge from EVERY OTHER MAKER .you can reverse the 2 wires (they are the only 2 with screws) I think its the Brake and the marker lites...I KNOW one is the brake...found out the hard way...

PLUG IN THE TRAILER ,turn on the lites , BRAKES WERE LOCKED !
GGGRRRRRrrrrrrrrr...LOL funny now

Well didn't get to it it rained and is still raining. But I also thought about just buying the other end (trailer end) of the flat 4 plug and wiring it up that way so I am going to try today and see if I can't find one around town. I am going to try to get this done soon and will post pics once completed.
