Has anyone tried the new Banks PDA that is designed to be used with Bank six gun tuners? I read the artical on the Banks web site but can not find a price anywhere. Anyone know what this thing cost?

 

The Banks PDA is an option for the 6 gun tuner.Will set you back about $649.00 and will be available early Dec.

Got the info from talking to a Banks sales rep. at the offroad expo this past weekend.

 

mischifdad - When you were talking to the Banks sales rep, did he go into details as to how this PDA worked with the six gun tuner. Does it help increase power or is it just to be able to see data instead of installing gauges? I also read some where that you will be able to just purchase the software and use a PDA you already have. Did the rep. comment on this? Thanks for the reply.

 

Yes,you can change your settings from the PDA and takes the place of up to 4 different data readings therefore not needing to install any gauges.Also said that if you already have gauges you can get readings from either one or both.its actually not that bad of a price cause you're saving $$ on gauges and bundled all up in the PDA with alot more functions.
He didnt comment on the above,but im sure you can call them up and find out.

Is the $649 in addition to the 6-Gun or with the 6-Gun included? You never know with Banks sometimes?

ok guys....heres the scoop:
inorder to use the pda you have to have the six gun tuner (and the speed loader if you so desire...an extra batch of ponies). the six gun is not included in the price of the pda. you can use a pda that you already have...but the docking station /software by itself(no pda) is $400 (ouch) i bought my six gun n speed loader n 6 inch exhaust from ETR diesel. they beat everyone elses prices by a long shot. i think i saved $100 on my six gun/speed loader combo. I'm sure they can beat the prices banks advertises. ETR (865) 986-2084
