Anyone have Back Country steps?
Hello...
Anyone have back country nerf steps on their truck? I heard their quality is pretty good. I am considering buying some.
What other brands do you feel are worth considering? Westin is out of the picture as well as Mopar.
Any pics would be much apperciated. Thanks!

I has a set of Back country's on my old Dakota...they looked just like the Westins on my rig now. I'm not sure why you dont like the westins....they are good, and CHEAP!

I dont know why you rule out the Mopar nerf bars except maybe for the price. They are as solid an install as I have found. I like the way they fit close to the truck.

I'm also wondering why not Westin bars.... I carry a LOT of steps and bars, and I have Westins on my truck (actually the last 3 trucks), and they have never failed to be great. The first ones rusted out in about 8 years, but considering PA winters and all the salt, no biggie. Since then I've learned to just go stainless (after all, you can't blame mild steel for rusting).
Anyway I have no direct experience with Back Country bars and this isn't a Westin "Ad" since I carry so many (Grizzly, Manik, Maap, Go Rhino, DeeZee, Waag, Smittybilt, Better Built and a few others too).
Maybe it'd be more helpful to tell us what you are looking for out of the steps, and go from there.... For example: Stainless or no, Black or Chrome/polished, wheel to wheel or just under cab, actual round tubing, or oval tubing and so on.

I have a set of Big Country steps on my truck. I paid 220 installed for them. I am 350lbs and I have a bunch of buddies who are big guys and they dont move at all. I have been real happy with them so far.
