Question anyone got info on grid delete

what good does it do numbers wise? is it easy to put the heater back in if you need it?

I just gutted a stock grid heater. Works as good as anything out there. Being that you are Manteca.... you won't need it.

I've heard people that start their truck at 0 degrees with no grid heater.

k i know hellman makes a killer little unit and since im going twins and back in cali just wondering if i can take it out. and any advantages that i might gain.

Advantages? A little less restriction for airflow. You'll have no need for it in Cali, I'd junk it. Dang thing puts a heck of a strain on the electrical system when it kicks on too, which you could eliminate entirely.

i live in mass and travel to canada frequently and my truck has started without it when its -10, sometimes im just un able to use it
