Anyone else havin grief with Diprocal Fuel Press. Guage?

I installed my Pressure Guage and it worked perfect for awhile and then a few months later it started giving me some wacky readings with just the stock lift pump alone. And now I have my GDP Fuel Boss installed and I'm wanting to get this guage working to see some accurate readings. The numbers the guage gives me with just the stock lifter are about 12.5 PSI while at cruising speeds which are way off, when it was working I saw like 9 or 10 PSI at idle and only 6 PSI at cruising speeds. Now with the Fuel Boss the guage is all over the place and really annoying. I also installed a buddies guage for him and his pressure guage hardly works at all. He says it will work once in awhile but the numbers aren't accurate. Anyone have any ideas to what would make them haywire? Anyone else having grief with fuel pressure guages?

i have the 0-30. about 8 months so far and no issues. have you tried to bleed air out of the sending line?

i assume you are running an isolator? i dont, could be the issue.

The isolator in mine has taken a s*&t....I thought that my AD150 was goingout when i was getting reading of 5-7 psi in the AM and 15-17 in the PM. Now it just stays at 0 psi all the time. Checked all fittings for leaks and found none...apparently no one can make a FP gauge that can hold up to this new ULSD crap....it just eats everything!!!!

Which part of it is the isolator again, im pretty sure i installed it in both my truck and the buddies truck. I just installed them the way they were called for on the install sheet. As far as an air lock there couldn't be much of an area to get air locked except at the transducer which is the spring loaded part that reads the pressure.

I took power for the guage off of the ignition wire and installed the inline fuse with it in between, the LED power off the dimmer switch of course and everything else electrical was all there in harnesses from the transducer under the hood all the way back into the cab and plugged into the guage.

Also I installed the transducer with the tee provided from GDP in the middle of the 3/8 parker hose line going from my 2 micron filter kit to the cp3, instead of below the stock filter cannister where most put them. Did I mention that both of these guages are not mechanical guages but the new electrical ones. I think this is why i'm confused about the isolator.

Thats what I thought, so im think its the transducer at this point which is acting goofy and not sending the guage proper readings...

I have never had a problem with my Dipricol elec.FP gauge, can't say the same for their RP gauge.Maybe if your friends is doing something a little different than yours, swap senders and see if the problem swaps trucks.

Good grounds are a must for elec. gauges!

Ya i think you are right about grounding, and they are both grounded properly i know this. I'll try swapping the senders and see I never really thought about that. Thanks for the help.
