Anyone else had trouble with BD ex brake?
I've had the BD exhaust brake on my 06 for about three years now and through the last year it still works but it's getting to where it takes it 10-20 seconds to engage. Anyone else had this trouble or maybe know if it is adjustable maybe? Thanks for any info.

Don't know what version of BD brake you have. I had one on my '98 and it worked fine up to the time I sold the truck. One problem area on the vacuum operated type is the "spool" valve that directs vacuum to the brake servo. They can gum up or get plugged with dirt so that the center portion won't slide freely. It's usually just a matter of taking them apart and cleaning well.
The brake has an adjuster on the actuator lever but that just serves to apply more braking back pressure.
You should be able to download a "Manual" for your brake that gives fairly detailed instructions.
