Anybody use this overhead mount for guages?

Hi I found a guage mounting system that I might be interested in.
http://dieselmanor.com/gauges/gauge_kits_dodge.asp
Have any of you tried it yet? How hard was it to run the wires and what was the glare like from the guages in the overhead winshield mount position? I would call the place but I'm stuck on the phone all day today.
Thanks in Advance, Brett

Probably need to extend the wireing for all gauges...the EGT will be the hardest.

Maybe someone makes a long version of the temp probe wireing...

Here is my Question and the response I received below it

Question:
Hi, I'm very interested in the overhead guage mounting system for the 2003
dodge ram trucks. However,I'm wondering if the standard length of wire
supplied by the guage manufacturers(dipricol)would be long enough to run the
wires to that overhead location? I'm assuming the wires would tuck under the
headliner, run down the a piller and through the firewall.

Response:
Hi Brett,
Very good question. We've been getting many of the same from other
customers.
The Dipricol gauges you may have to lengthen the lead wire. Just use 16
Gauge wire and use crimp connectors (don't solder). We're in the process
right now of ordering some 12' Dipricol lead wires, but lengthening them is
perfectly acceptable.

ISSPRO gauges you will not have to lengthen the 6' leadwire because the
ISSPRO Pyro comes with an amp box that has a good length leads that connect
to the lead wire.

Overhead Gauge Mounts

BNC04,

We started with the overhead mounts approx 6 months ago, just now getting them totally finished and available in qualtity. So far the sales rate has been very good, customers like the location as it's easily seen yet out of the way and doesn't block any vision out the windshield etc.

We stock the DiPricol thermocouple leads in 12 foot lengths and the rest of the gauge connections are just standard tubing or wiring. Auto Meter is supposed to increase their thermocouple length as inventories flow thru. You can take the lead and wiring and slip it under the headliner of the truck and then down the back side of the A pillar. They might come out of the headliner a time or two till the wires "take a set" but then it works great.

The mounts are available in 2, 3 or 4 gauge designs, we also will have the Attitude mounts in a apillar design for the 2003+ trucks very soon, maybe sooner than Edge will have the product built!
