I'm having problems with my Quad box throwing codes and not working properly. This started after I installed my exhaust brake. Does anybody know if the exhaust brake changes the rail pressure in any way? I am in touch with Quad on this. I am just looking for anybody else that has had this problem.

when installing the ebrake, you had to hook up to 2 pins on the ecm, you probably disturbed some connections and that is causing your cel. check all of your underhood connections.

 

I have checked and rechecked my connections. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. The only time is doesn't work properly is when they exhaust brake is turned on. I've talked to to Quad and we've come to the conclusion that I am robbing enough voltage with the exhaust brake to cause the Quad box to go crazy. There is a new box on the way with the newest board that is supposed to fix the problem with the CB radios and hopefully will fix my problem.

 

I am running the quad standard box with the jacobs ebrake on a 2006 and have had absolutely no problems with codes, latest flash on box

 

My 03 has had no problems at all

 

As soon as I get my new box I'll repost the results of it.
