Any TST scholars?

I have had a TST on mine for around 5 years now. Upgrade to R49 3 years ago. With the Smarty/Dr P stack you really can't take advantage of the TST. I still have mine on, but use it mainly for the gauges display and cool down timer. The later Smarty software makes it hard to really use much of the TST power.
The newer TST PowerMaxCR PDA49 would be nice. The data logging function would help with tuning. By itself the TST on mine can certainly produce as much power as any other performance mod. Alone it lacks Torque Management functionality, which is probably the biggest drawback. It also runs hotter in the higher hp settings.
The Smarty does better at timing and runs much cooler overall, so it is hard not to use the Smarty.
I occasionally set the Smarty to stock and turn the TST up and run that way, but eventually I turn it down and load the Smarty back.
If you have all the necessary mods to support high hp, it is nice to be able to add the TST power, just an expensive mod that you can't really take full advantage of. That said I really like my TST unit and don't really see taking it off.
