Well I have had one on since Feb. and the jury is still out. I really didn't want an oiled intake this time so I am trying this. Can you hear it whistle? Yes, but not real loud. Did I feel any performance gain? No. My biggest complaint is that I can pull the filter minder down close to half way. To me that is a restriction but I don't know? Other than that it seems to trap a lot of dirt and debris.

RJOS, I see you have a few mods so does your filter minder pull down at all? I pull down half way but maybe it is just a weak spring in the filter minder? And you had to tell me that more mods will help in the whistle department, shame on you. Now I'm gonna want more.

I had a AEM Brute Force intake first. Everytime I pulled the car trailer, the filter minder would be pulled all the way down. So, I upgraded to the Workhorse intake and it has never pulled down again. The filter element size on the Workhorse is much bigger which flows more air. I love mine and would buy another one. The whistle is louder than stock. Take out the silencer ring with the intake and now you have an F16!

My filter minder pulled 3/4 of the way to the red zone brand new stock.
I'll be installing my new workhorse in the morning...we'll see how it does by comparison
