Any suggestions on 1/2 fuel line from tank to cp3?

What are some ideas or suggestions for fuel supply line from tank to cp3?

My current setup is 3/8 pickup tube, 3/8 fuel hose to fass 150 pump and 3/8 fuel line to fuel filter housing then stock fuel line from fuel filter housing to cp3.

If I convert the entire supply and return system to 1/2" I will be spending lots of money with aeroquip to purchase aluminum fittings 8AN and 1/2 hose.

Consider this and let me know what you think....

1. Will the FASS 150 work and perform well with larger 1/2 pickup tube and 1/2 line all the way?

2. How could I keep the fuel returned in the cp3 for lubrication purposes cool? Should I run a return line to the tank instead of the fuel filter housing?

3. Has anyone attempted such a revamp of the fuel lines to 1/2 inch and is it worth doing to keep fuel cooler and supply more volume availability at the CP3?

Thanks

1/2" fuel line

Funny I was just reading about this last night. Go to Relentless Diesels' web site www.relentlessdiesel.com and Chris addresses this and other things he and others have tried with little to NO results.

I gave him the reference and where to find the info and if you think I need to read it to him,...don't count on it. I'm referring to doing just the 1/2" upgrades as opposed to the 3/8" which in and of itself doesn't do much, per Chris' posting on his web site. You need more and that's what he is selling. Maybe you're the one who should be in some corner trying to figure out what's going on,..smart a...!

If you go to 1/2" please don't use flexible line. Spend the money on a nice tube bender and make new hard lines. Maybe I'm just old-school. Eh.

Well

I think I can use Out-of-here's set up from the f filter housing to the cp3 then grab some 8an x 1/2 fittings and 1/2 line and go from the filter housing back to the fass.

Im thinking existing 6an fittings in the 3/8 line brings the passage thru 6AN fittings down to 1/4 inch. Maybe the fitting size used on the 1/2 line will help with volume.

Its all a big project for fun anyway.
