I've got one. It holds lots of water after a good rain or a wash. I usually open after it rains to let it all drain out.

Hey Dan. I forgot you had one too. I like the hood but if you laid both out before me and I had a choice, I think I would still take the STR10 hood....

 

It does come with a air intake for it, but will work with others, some cutting may aply though on the heat sheild. I just think that tooooo many people have the srt hood. i wanted to get one but i see them every where, not that im knocking the srt hood.

 

It seems like they are everywhere on these boards but there really aren't that many of them out there, at least on diesel trucks. The last two get-togethers I went to, including Fall Brawl, I had the only SRT10 hood there...

 

Up here in the great white north lol. It seems to be a fad or trend. But your right there is more of them on gas jobbers. I just havent seen the suncoast hood anywhere around where im from. By the way that hood looks slick on your truck.

 

I see a whole lot more of those junky stick on scoops running around here. Most people don't even put them on right. I had to talk my father out of putting those on his 05 dakota. I may have to buy him a different hood just to keep him from changing his mind and sticking those crappy things on there....

Suncoast makes great hoods. I had one on my 95 Trans Am Convertible a few years ago. I had no problems at all with it but the knucklehead who bought it from me tightened the hoodbolts too tight and cracked it on both sides....

 

Yeah up here we call them LEE PRESS ON SCOOPS and there is alot of them too! Well i get the hood installed on monday and probibly get my truck back on wednesday, due to some other replacement parts. Cant wait..
