Question Any new updates for quad std box???

Does anyone know if quad has come out with any new flashes lately? Seems like my std box is down on power under 2k RPMs and feels like a dump truck till then. My 95 definatly pulls harder on the bottom end up till around 2500 RPM. The fuel preasure and boost #s are good so I know a call to quad is coming but I was just curious of the latest developments since they removed the TPS wire. Thanks guys.

whens the last tiem you serviced your truck? fuel filter air filter ?? bad batch of fuel could gum it up quick, simple as pulling into the service station minutes after they dilivered and stirred up their tank. fuel presure is measured on the prefilter side of the setup no?

Thanks mike. That was quick. Actually I believe it has been going on for awhile but just getting more noticable. I have been noticing it more and more over several tanks of fuel from different gas stations. The last fuel load came from the same pump and day I filled the 95 on and no problems on that one. I dont drive the new one that much as I use it for trips, heavier hauling, or when I need more seats than my 95 std cab. The fuel filter was changed at the last oil change and the FP is taken after the filter with a banjo bolt between the filter and injection pump on the filter side. Fuel preasure is around 9.5-10PSI and stays above 4 when at WOT. Air filter was also changed at the last oil service around 1000 miles ago.

Double checked this morning. No codes. Fuel preasure shoots up to 9.5lbs then slowly drops back to zero after the fuel pump shuts off. Have to do some checking as that doesnt seem right. I should also add that after 2k RPM the truck takes off like a rocket.

Well I sent my box in after talking to Roark and let me tell you this new tune rocks. This sucker actually drives like my old 12V now. I cant even begin to tell yall how pleased I am with it. If the MPG stays the same I will have to say that Quad is a wizard. Another bonus is that the rattling sound went away. Thank you so much Quad!! I will keep my eys on your site and see if there is anything I need to help keep you in business. Every business needs to be like yall.

I would have to check. I can tell you that this thing definatly pulls harder. Previously the turbo lit off at 2000 RPM then pulled. It reminded my of a quadrajet 4 barrel on a gasser when you went WOT. Now bottom end is way stronger with a smooth pull all the way up till 3200 RPM.

Is that for the 600? Is there anything for the original CR?

Yes I have a 600. Quad does make a box for the 555 also. Check out his site for the info. From memory the 555 boxes are 100 HP standard and 140 for the race on the adjustable boxes.
