Well, I ordered my downpipe today. Dave is a really nice guy! I recommend calling them. The price is a little bit more than $140.00 now but still less than I have seen..
Thanks again AKRAM.. Soon I'll have a true 4" system. Hmmm, I wonder if it will sound any better.... I also ordered a 4"to 5" stainless tip from Genos just because I think it will look better. My Megs 4" SS tip will be for sale for cheap..
I'm also going to get a WIX or Fleetguard BHAF to mount under the hood and my AFE drop in will be for sale....

Not sure about theirs but most I've seen start out at 3.5" and flare out to 4". The Banks unit replaces the whole elbow off the turbo so you have a true 4" from the turbo back....

Does anybody know if that downpipe is part of the Monster Exhaust package? They claim from the turbo back will be 4". QUOTE: "Banks Monster exhaust outflows stock and the competition. The streamlined 4" turbine-outlet pipe, head pipe, intermediate pipe and tailpipe are formed of stainless" is this what I am reading, turbo back?

I know mine is now 4" all the way back and along with that and a BHAF instead of the stock air box I gained about 1 mpg and a little lower tone to the exhaust...

What if your '04 305/555 came with the 4" elbow? Does anyone know who has a true 4" DP to fit this truck? My OEM DP starts out at 4" where it hooks up to the elbow, the necks down to 3.5" within the first few inches. Dam'dest thing I ever saw...too bad DC didn't just keep it 4" all the way out...

Should I go with the banks DP or get one that fits my 4" elbow (if anyone has one)? I wonder if an aftermarket 4" DP for a 04/05 600 would work?
