in fact I should have less stress/wear on my cp3 cause I would have 2 pumps working at half there pumping power.
right?
I believe you are correct there Mark, that's the way I understand it. And I would think it would actually be easier on the injectors, cuz you're not having to wait for the cp3 to ramp up and get the big spikes, the fuel is just there when you need it. Can we get a deal on Evil Twins if we both buy them at the same time?!?! I'm ready, was actually bout to call Lloyd today!

I have heard different things about dual cp3s and pressure, I would do some more reading on that.
how is that any different then running any smarty program with stock injectors????
the pressure is only what the ECM demands..duals or not..now what I have read is duals ramp up faster but that still would not be a draw back imo
the over all Rail psi would be the same duals with a smarty or not.
we run higher RP on stock sticks all the time so why is this any different??
I am not arguing with you I just dont really see a difference

I am not arguing just saying be careful. because you are putting more pressure to the injects more often (ramp up faster). i think you should get the springs and cam and the top half of your twin plans. Then injectors/cp3s/turbo.

I ran PPE's dual fueler with stock injectors and stock turbo for about 3,000 miles. It seemed to work fine. I know it's not a long term test... I could not tell any difference in rail pressure going from the stock cp3 to the twin cp3's. This is on my 05...

Mark Rock and roll with your plan!!! You should be fine as far as your injectors are concerned Just make sure you keep the fuel well filtered because the pressure will be for sure. The stock turbo will not see much of a difference because your sticks will now become the limiting factor. I say Do it.
Oh And I agree with Christian

I know I am late joining in here, LOL but what other mods are you using to get to 900 HP? The stock pumps will handle 900 without a problem.

yes I am glad you chimed in....I am not sure on what size sticks I would need to do it but from what I gather this is about my list here..
Big flux's=4.+?
Twins=Pius turbos(maybe)I have a couple versions and ideas but nothing is set yet..I know this will play a BIG role in my goal
F1 springs
Helix 2 cam
Evil twins dual CP3's
ARP 625+
Airdog150
Haisley HMR street Drag clutch
Smarty super tune
I am sure I am forgetting something else?????
suggestions????

You will be fine with stock sticks and dual cp3s. I have ran that way several times while my sticks were being upgraded. To get your 900 you may need bigger sticks than 4.xx with just a smarty. On turbos you will need at least a 80mm primary, probably bigger. I have seen mid to high 800s from a 80mm but never 900. This is uncorrected you add a 5-10 percent correction factor no problem. The rest of your mods look spot on. Tim
