Tow program or not... doesn't matter... If you're making more power that means more fuel and if you don't go with a bigger turbo, you're going to have higher egt's. Or you can spray a little water.

Everyone also has said that the beta helps with gas mileage, yet my over head is dropping faster than the titanic. Before anyone says it, yes I know the overhead is always wrong, but with Smarty S-06A Ver. 4.06D, Data: 3.08B set to sw#7 the overhead reads 18.5 to 19.5 in town, but hand calcs to 17 to 17.5. With beta 4.4 loaded on sw#5 the overhead has already dropped from 19.2 to 17.0 and I have only put about 75 miles on it, so I will hand calc it once I hit 3/4 tank and then I think I will bump it to sw#7 and run some more.

Here is my next update, beta 4.4 on sw#7, I went 292.6 miles on 21.7 gallons for a grand total of 13.48 mpg, all in town driving. So the 4.06D, Data: 3.08B is going back in and set to sw#7.

i just got the update about two days ago, so far as compared to the wild aftermarket turbo and injector. the beta feels like it has less tq delete so taking off is nicer with my six speed. but i dont think it has the same bottom end. also egts are down about 200-300 degrees. boost is also down about 5 psi or more. hits hard up top though. so for a towing program it is awsome. i will report bak with my milage when i get through a tank. i normally get between 19 and 20. i always leave my smarty on sw9.

I finally got the beta installed and it seems to be alot better on my truck. I had a gear hunt issue at 30mph and that seems to be pretty much gone. I ran it on 9 like before and ran the tst on 2 and it runs pretty good. just staying in overdrive and accelerating it was at 85 with no problem. egts seemed to be better also. It runs just as well with better features I think. havent drove it yet during the day to see how it rolls the coal.
