At work we have cases of air line antifreeze for the trucks on the bottle the ingredients listed are methanol and ethylene glycol. does anyone know can I mix this with distilled water for my water injection?? Thanke robert

I just answered you over on cumminsforum. I was just thinking about that and Im not sure but I think several of the wal-mart brands that are different in color have something like that in there so you might be alright. I suppose it doesnt have the listed amounts?

i wouldnt inject anything glycol based into the motor.
fyi: some washer fluid is glycol based.

Yeah I guess I didnt finish my post. I was gonna add that most people run the washer fluid (granted not good) and dont have problems but that wont tell your what is happening inside the motor.

The glycol Ive dealt with I was told was SALT based, yikes, cant be good. Also it was really sticky to the touch when it dried.
