Talking Another gauge question

When mounting an overhead cluster of gauges how do you run the wires?
Thanks! Usta

Usta HaveA Hemi,

The leading edge of the headline has a space you can slip them under and not damage anything at all. We have sold a lot fo the windshiled mounts, it's visibility and out of the way location is making it one of our fastest sellers lately! By the way we also have factory type loomed gauge installation wiring harnesses that make installs a real breeze too! Call us if you have any questions etc.

Does anyone out there have pics of thier install of the overhead pod? I was wondering if there is a back to these things or will the black struff on the window cover it? What is that black stuff anyway?
Thanks! Usta

Usta - I can tell you the wiring harness Mark sells is top notch. My install was a breeze (I did not do the overhead mount though, I did three by the pillar). The harness is well worth the money.

Anyone have a picture of different gauges at night? Just wondering if the lights up high would be a distraction?

I am starting to get concerned about mounting the over head guage pod. As I was driving today I was noticing that I have the automatic rear vew mirrors. There is a covered wire that runs down the window to the mirror. Will there be a way to run this through the gauge pod or am I going to have to break out the dremmel tool? It also looks very narrow between the mirror and the overhead console. Has anyone out there dealt with this?

Thanks! Usta

A little "tweaking" on a custom installation is to be expected.

If you take your time and "measure twice and cut once" you'll be proud of your results when everyone gives you the OOOOOs and Ahhhhhs and the "WOW! , You did that yourself?".

click on the "gauges" in my sig.
